CHAPTER 83.

AN ACT to amend the ninety-third article, sec-
tion two hundred and fifty-three of the Code of
Public General Laws, relating to the bonds of
Registers of Wills,
|
Repealed.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That section two hundred and fifty-
three, article ninety-three, of the Code of Public
General Laws, be and the same is hereby repealed,
and the following inserted in lieu thereof:

Bond.
|
The Register of Wills, in each county, before he
acts as such, shall give bond with two good and
sufficient securities, in the penal sum of seven thou-
sand dollars, payable to this State, conditioned for
the faithful performance of his said office of Regis-
ter of Wills, which bond shall be taken, and secu-
rities approved by the judges of the Orphans Court,
and recorded in the office of the clerk of the Circuit
Court, for the county in which the party so execu-
ting the bond shall live, or the Superior Court of
Baltimore city, if Register of said city, and every
Register shall renew his bond on or before the thir-
ty-first day of December, in every second year.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from its passage.

A SUPPLEMENT to an Act entitled, an act to in-
corporate the Baltimore, Catonsville and Ellicott's
Mills Passenger Railway Company passed at
January session, 1860, chap. 34.

purchase

|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Baltimore, Catonsville and
Ellicott's Mills Passenger Railway Company may
and shall be authorized to purchase and occupy,
