AN ACT appropriating a sum of money to the
Trustees of Chipewa Tribe, Number nineteen,
Improved Order of Red Men.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted Ly the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Treasurer is hereby requir-
ed, on the warrant of the Comptroller, to pay the
Trustees of Chipewa Tribe, Number nineteen, Im-
proved Order of Red Men, the sum of one hundred
dollars for rent of their hall for the use of the Se-
nate, being balance of rent due for the May session.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the Trea-
surer is hereby required to pay to said Trustees, on
the warrant of the Comptroller, the sum of fifteen
dollars per day, for the use of said hall by the Se-
nate for the June session; and the Secretary of the
Senate, at the close of said session, is hereby re-
quired to furnish the said Trustees a certificate of
the number of days the Senate may have occupied
said hall at its June session.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this act
shall take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT making appropriations for the payment
of the expenses of the extra-session of the Gene-
ral Assembly of Maryland.
|

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the following sums be and they
are hereby appropriated, or so much thereof as may
be necessary for the payment of the expenses of the
extra-session of the General Assembly: For com-
pensation granted by the Constitution and laws of
this State to the Members of the Senate and House
of Delegates, their officers and attendants, nineteen
thousand eight hundred and forty dollars; for
