LIMITATION OF ACTIONS— All actions of ac-

count, actions of assumpsit, or on

the case, actions of debt on simple

contract, or for rent in arrear, de-

tinue or replevin, all actions for tres-

pass, for injuries to real or personal

property, all actions for illegal ar-

rests, false imprisonment, or viola-

tion of the 21st, 23rd, 28th and 29th

articles of the Declarations of Rights,

or any of them ; or of the existing,

or any future provisions of the Code

touching the writ of habeas corpus,

or proceedings thereunder, to be

commenced within three years from

the time, the cause of action accru-

ed,

All actions on the case for words, and

actions of assault, battery and woun-

ing, or any of them, to be commen-

ced within one year from the time

the cause of action accrued,
