AN ACT making appropriation for the payment
of the expenses of the Extra Session of the Gen--
eral Assembly of Maryland for the year eighteen
hundred and sixty-one.
|
Sum appro-
priated.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That for the expenditures and pay-
ment of the support of the extra session of the Gen-
eral Assembly, the following sum of money, or so
much thereof, as may be necessary, be and the same
is hereby appropriated, that is to say: for the Leg-
islature, for compensation granted by the Constitu-
tion of this State and the laws thereof, to the members
of the Senate and House, their officers and atten-
dants, and also for the contingent expenses of the
General Assembly, including the cost of printing
and postage, twenty-five thousand dollars.

Warrant.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Treasurer of
the State shall upon the warrant of the Comptrol-
ler of the Treasury Department, disburse the said
sum hereinbefore appropriated for the objects and
purposes specified to or upon the order of the per-
son or persons severally entitled thereto.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to amend the nineteenth section, rela-
ting to Banks, of Article twelve of the Code of
Public General Laws.
|
Repealed.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the nineteenth section of Arti-
cle twelve of the Code of Public General Laws be
and the same is hereby repealed, and the following
enacted as a substitute therefor:
