ation for advancement of Colored
People. Improved E. P. O. of Elks.

Colored High Scool. Member of De-
fence Council.

JOSEPH P. EVANS

Grand Master of Masons. Grand
Master of Fishermen. Patriotic Citi-
zen and Churchman. A leading bus-
iness and fraternal man of Baltimore.

Grace Margaret Hill, the daughter of Rev. Daniel G .Hill. Pre-
siding Elder of the Baltimore Conference, A. M. E. Church, is a
product of the Baltimore City Schools.

After completing the Elementary course of school 116. she con-
tinued at the Colored High School from which she graduated in 1914.

In the fall of the same year she matriculated at Howard Uni-
versity in the Department of Arts and Sciences. The Course was
completed in the alloted time and in 1918, Miss Hill was the recipient
of the degree. A. B., (cum laude) with honor.

She is at present teaching English History in the Balto. Colored
High School,
