MISS ANNE E. SMITH.

HON. ALBERT ADAMS.

Miss Anne E. Smith, a native Mary-
lander and product of the Baltimore
public school system, who, after serving
efficiently as clerk and librarian at the
Colored High School for twelve years,
was recently elected by the School Board
as an instructor in the business depart-
ment of the local High School.

O. D. JONES.

Councilman J. Albert Adams, of
Annapolis, is a native of Maryland, hav-
ing been born at West River in 1872.

A full sketch of Mr. Adams' biography
was given in last year's Directory. He
is a member of the Masonic Fraternity,
Odd Fellows, Elks, Knights of Jerusalem
and other orders.

Dentist.

A popular dentist of the city, whose
