WILLIAM ANDERSON.

MR. GOUGH McDANNELS.

Mr. Wm. Anderson, principal of the
new Paul Laurence Dunbar School,
Caroline and Jefferson Sts., is one of the
best-known and most active of Balti-
more's school men. He is an official of
Grace Presbyterian Church; president of
the Schoolmasters' Club of Baltemore;
treasurer of the Equitable Improvement
Association of East Baltimore, and for
many years was a director of the Y. M.
C. A. Mr. Anderson is a graduate of
the local High School, Class of 1899.

DANIEL H. MURPHY.

One of the younger business men of
the city. He is City Editor of the Afro-
American and a graduate of the Colored
Polytechnic Institute, Class of 1900.
