REV. ERNEST LYONS, D.D., L.L.D.

Rev. Ernest Lyons is undoubtedly the most noted colored
man in Maryland. By reason of his diplomatic connections
as former minister to Liberia and his present position as
representative of that republic to this country, he has the
right to demand and receive audiences from kings and poten-
tates all over the civilized world. He is a constant and ener-
getic worker, and Baltimore should be proud of him.

DR. HOWARD E. YOUNG.

Dr. Howard E. Young, popular prescription pharmacist
at Druid Hill Avenue and Hoffman Street, is a graduate of
The Washington High School, and of Howard University in
Pharmacy. He established his present business in 1900.
when no other colored men were in the same field here, and
has ever been successful.
