CHAPTER 93.

AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Harford
County to grant a pension to Mrs. Mary Schofield, of said
county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Harford County are
hereby authorized and empowered to grant an annual pension
of one hundred dollars to Mrs. Mary Schofield, of said county,
during the natural life of the said Mrs. Mary Schofield, and to
levy said sum on the assessable property of said county.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 11, 1910.

CHAPTER 103.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 189 of
Article 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Harford
County," subtitle "Havre de Grace."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 189 of Article 13 of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Harford County," subtitle "Havre de Grace," be
and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amend-
ments, so as to read as follows:

189. Any person who has been a bona fide resident of Havre
de Grace for the period of two years next preceding the appli-
cation hereinafter provided for, who shall desire to take out a
license for the sale or barter of spirituous or fermented liquors
in any quantity whatsoever, shall file with the Clerk of the
Circuit Court for said county a petition in writing, signed
by himself and at least five freeholders who have been such for
a period of two years prior to the time of so signing and resi-
dent for a like period of two years within the corporate limits
of said city; and the said petition shall certify that the said
applicant is a proper person to be licensed, and pray that
license may be granted to such applicant, and said person ap-
