SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect

CHAPTER 518.
AN ACT to repeal Section 173 of Article 10 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of the State of Maryland, title "Dor-
chester County," sub-title "Fish," and re-enact the same with
amendments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 173 of Article 10 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of the State of Maryland, title "Dorchester Coun-
ty," sub-title "Fish," be and the same is hereby repealed and
re-enacted with amendments, so as to read as follows:
173. It shall be unlawful for any person or persons not
bona fide residents of Dorchester County to fish with seine, gill
nets, fikes, traps, pound nets or set nets of any kind or descrip-
tion in any of the waters of Dorchester County; provided, that
nothing herein shall be so construed as to prevent the residents
of Talbot County from fishing in the waters of Choptank River
that are now used in common by the residents of Talbot and
Dorchester Counties, _or the residents of Wicomico County
from fishing in the waters of the Nanticoke River now used in
common by the residents of Wicomico and Dorchester Coun-
ties. And nothing in this Act shall apply to the waters of
Tangier Sound, within the limits of Somerset County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the first day of July, 1910.

CHAPTER 508.
AN ACT to require persons engaged in the business of catching
crabs by means of Trot line and net, in the waters of No. 5,
or Lakes, No. 6, or Hoopers Island and No. 10, or Straits
Election District of Dorchester County to take out license,
and providing for applying the receipts therefrom to the
Public Road fund, to be used in improving the Public Roads,
of said Districts, Nos. 5, 6 and 10 of said County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That any reside'nt of Dorchester County, desiring to catch
