SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER, 658.
AN ACT to repeal Chapter 522 of the Acts of 1904 relating to
the taking of oysters in certain waters of the State, in so
far as the same applies to Dorchester County and the Chop-
tank River in said county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 522 of the Acts of 1904, entitled "An Act
to Regulate the Taking or Catching of Oysters in Certain
Waters of the State," be and the same is hereby repealed in so
far as said Act applies to Dorchester County and to the waters
of the Choptank River in said County.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 657.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 1 of
Chapter 187 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, passed at the January Session 1902, entitled an Act to
add a new section to Article 10 of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Dorchester County," sub-title "Secretary," as
amended by the Act of 1900, Chapter 555.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 1 of Chapter 187 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Session 1902, en-
titled an Act to add a new section to Article 10 of the Code of
Public Local Laws, entitled "Dorchester County," sub-title
"Secretary," as amended by the Act of 1900, Chapter 555, is
hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments to read as
follows:
1. That a new section be added to Chapter 555 of the Acts
of 1900, to follow Section 12, and to be designated as Section
13, and to read as follows: The County Commissioners of Dor-
chester county shall annually hereafter, on the 1st day of
October, pay to the Commissioners of the town of Secretary,
