lications, as hereinbefore provided, upon the terms and for the
pro rata compensation aforesaid, then, and in said event, the
publication in one of such newspapers, the publishers or man-
agers of which will publish the publications aforesaid, upon
the terms aforesaid, shall be sufficient publication thereof by
the said board.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 354.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of Chapter 199 of
the Acts of 1904, entitled "An Act to Create the Office of
Treasurer for Charles County, and to Provide for the Collec-
tion of Taxes Therein;" to repeal Section 8 of said Chapter
199, of the Acts of 1904, aforesaid, as amended by Chapter
509 ef the Acts of 1908, entitled "An Act to Repeal Section
8 of Chapter 199 of the Acts of 1904, Being an Act to Create
the Office of Treasurer of Charles County, and to Provide for
the Collection of Taxes Therein;" and also Sections 9 and 10
of Chapter 760 of the Acts of 1906, entitled "An Act to Re-
peal Section 9 of Chapter 199 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland for the Session of 1904, entitled "An
Act to Create the Office of Treasurer for Charles County and
to Provide for the Collection of Taxes Therein; and to Re-
enact the Same with Amendments, and to Add a New Sec-
tion to Said Act, to Be Known as Section 10;" also to re-
peal said Sections 9 and 10 of Chapter 199 of the Acts of
1904 aforesaid, as amended by Chapter 817 of the Acts of
1906, entitled "An Act to Repeal Section 9 of Chapter 199 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland for the Ses-
sion of 1904," entitled "An Act to Create the Office of Treas-
urer for Charles County, and to Provide for the Collection
of Taxes Therein and to Re-enact the Same with Amend-
ments and to Add a New Section to Said Act, to be Known
as Section 10;" and to re-enact said Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7,
8, 9 and 10, with amendments; and to add two new sections
to said Act to be known as Sections 11 and 12, respectively,
all of said sections to read as follows:

SECTION 2. That the said Treasurer shall be the collector
of all State taxes and all county taxes for whatsoever purposes
levied or to be levied for within said county during the term
of office, or that may be placed in his hands for collection;
and he shall have full power and it shall be his duty to receive
