for twelve months next preceding the election at which they
shall offer to vote shall be entitled to vote for said President
and Commissioners.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 449.

AN ACT to rpeeal Sections 38, 38A, 38e, 38c and 38o of Article
8 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Cecil
County," sub-title "Birds and Game," and to re-enact the
same with amendments, and to add to said Article, under
said title and sub-title, two additional sections, to be known
as Sections 38E and 38p and to follow Section 38D.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 38, 38A, 38B, 38c and 38D of Article 8 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Cecil County,"
sub-title "Birds and Game," be and the same are hereby re-
pealed and re-enacted with amendments, and that two addi-
tional sections, to be known as Sections 38E and 38F, be and
the same are hereby added to said Article, under said title and
sub-title, to follow Section 38D, so that all of said sections
shall read as follows:

38. It shall not be lawful for any person or persons to hunt,
chase, shoot at, shoot, trap, kill or in any manner take or de-
stroy any quail, partridge, pheasant, grouse, woodcock, snipe,
railbird, ortolan, reedbird, blackbird, marsh plover, Bartram's
sandpiper, commonly known as grass plover, wild rabbit, squir-
rel, crowbill, teal, wood, mallard, sprigtail or black duck, or to
have in his or her possession any such birds, game, rabbit or
wild duck herein mentioned, within the limits of Cecil county
(unless the same are to be liberated for breeding purposes),
except during the periods hereinafter enumerated, to wit:

For quail, partridge and wild rabbit, from November 1st to
December 24th; and for pheasant, from November 1st to Feb-
ruary 1st; and for snipe, from March 1st to December 24th;
and for railbird, ortolan, reedbird and blackbird, from Septem-
ber 1st to December 24th; and for woodcock, marsh plover and
Bartram's sandpiper, commonly called grass plover, from July
25th to December 24th; and for squirrel, from September 1st
to December 24th; and for crowbill, teal, wood, mallard, sprig-
tail and black ducks from September 1st to April 10th; pro-
