intersection with Huston's Branch Shoemaker road, is now
without the corporate limits of Federalsburg and is a county
road; and

Whereas, It isnow desired to improve, construct and repair said
Bridge street between its intersection with Main street and
Huston's Branch Shoemaker road, under the provisions of
Chapter 225 of the Acts of the General. Assembly of Mary-
land of 1904, and to raise, in accordance with Section 2, the
ten per cent, of the cost of construction, improvement and
repair of said portion of Bridge street from the owners of
property binding thereon, which said property is within the
corporate limits of the town of Federalsburg; now, therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That, in addition to the powers of taxation now possessed
by the Commissioners of Federalsburg, they are hereby author-
ized and empowered to levy and collect from the owners of
property binding upon said Bridge stret from its intersection
with Main street to its intersection with Huston's Branch
Shoemaker road, ten per cent, of the cost of constructing, im-
proving and repairing said portion of said Bridge street, as
the same may be constructed, improved or repaired, in pursu-
ance of the terms of Chapter 225 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1904.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the said Commis-
sioners of Federalsburg may pay over to the County Commis-
sioners of Caroline County the ten per cent, provided for in
Section 2 of Chapter 225 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland of 1904, and the said payment by the said Com-
missioners of Federalsburg shall be of the same effect as if it
had been made by the property owners, as provided in said
Section 2 of said Act.

And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 34.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 194, 194A and 194B of Chapter 665
of the Acts of 1894, entitled "An Act to Repeal Section 194 of
Article 6 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Caroline
County," sub-title "Liquors and Intoxicating Drinks," and
to re-enact the same with amendments, and to enact in lieu
thereof a new section, to be designated as Section 194.
