CHAPTER 174.

AN ACT to amend the Charter of the Alumnae Association of
the Baltimore City Hospital Training School for Nurses of
Baltimore City.

Whereas, the Alumnae Association of the Baltimore City
Hospital Training School for Nurses of Baltimore City is a
corporation without capital stock, duly incorporated under
and by virtue of the General Laws of this State, its certificate
of incorporation being recorded among the Charter Records of
Baltimore City in Liber R. O. No. 4'6, folio 43, &c., and,

Whereas, said corporation is desirous of changing its name,
by substituting the word "Mercy" in the place of the words
"Baltimore City," in its corporate name; therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the name of the Alumnae Association of the Balti-
more City Hospital Training School for Nurses of Baltimore
City, a corporation duly incorporated under and by said virtue
of the General Laws of this State, be and the same is hereby
changed to the Alumnae Association of the Mercy Hospital
Training School for Nurses of Baltimore City, and by that
name 'shall have perpetual succession, with all the rights and
powers incident thereto.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 7, 1910.

CHAPTER 169.

AN ACT to add a new Section, to follow Section 517B of Article
4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, entitled
"City of Baltimore," subtitle "Charter," as re-enacted by the
Act of 1906, Chapter 469, such additional section to be
known as "Section 517c," and to give authority to the Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore to make appropriations for the
furtherance and support of the prison reform and relief work
of the Prisoners' Aid Association of Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be added, to follow Section 517B of
Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, en-
titled "City of Baltimore," subtitle "Charter," as re-enacted by
the Act of 1906, Chapter 469, said additional section to be
known as "Section 517c," and to read as follows:
