614 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

as all other wharf property on Light street is now free and
clear of any and all assessments for the said widening of Pratt
street,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Minister and Trustees of the Starr Methodist
Protestant Church, the owners of the wharf property on the
east side of Light street, in Baltimore City, beginning 19 feet
9 inches south of the south side of Pratt street as now widened
and fronting on the east side of Light 31 feet 1 inch, and
known as Lot No. 314, as shown upon the map accompanying
the return of the Burnt District Commission, which acted
under Chapter 87 of the Acts of 1904 of the General Assembly
of Maryland, and under Ordinance No. 66 of 1904 of Baltimore
City, approved April 5, 1904, in connection with the widening
and extending of Pratt street, from Light street to West Falls
avenue, shall be released and discharged from the award $775
for benefits against and upon said Lot No. 314 made by said
commission, and the said Minister and Trustees of the Starr
Methodist Protestant Church are hereby released from the
payment of said $775 as aforesaid, and all interest due thereon
is hereby released and remitted.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 669.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 761 and 762 of Article 4 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, entitled "City of
Baltimore," subtitle "Police Commissioners," as amended
and re-enacted by Chapter 123 of the Acts of 1898, and to
re-enact the said sections with amendments, the said sections
relating to the carrying of deadly weapons.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 761 and 762 of Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, entitled "City of Baltimore,"
subtitle "Police Commissioners," as amended and re-enacted by
Chapter 123 of the Acts of 1898, be and the same are hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to read as
follows:

SEC. 761. The said Board of Police Commissioners may,
upon application of any person, issue a license to such person
to carry a pistol or revolver in the City of Baltimore upon the
payment by such applicant of the license fee or charge as here-
