direct and require the County Commissioners of Baltimore
County to make a special annual levy of ten cents on the hun-
dred dollars for the whole assessable property situated and
located within the limits of the villages of Canton and High-
landtown, in Baltimore County, for the purposes of grading,
paving and curbing certain streets in said villages," be and
the same are hereby repealed and the following enacted in lieu
thereof:
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the County Commissioners
of Baltimore County, at the time of the making of the annual
tax levy for the year 1910, and each succeeding year thereafter,
are hereby authorized, directed and required to make a special
annual levy of ten cents on each one hundred dollars ($ 100)
of the whole assessable property situated and located within
the limits of the Twelfth Election District of Baltimore County
(as described and defined by Chapter 251 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Session,
1906), to be collected as other county taxes are collected, and
when collected, to be used by the said County Commissioners
exclusively for the purpose of condemning, grading, curbing,
paving and macadamizing such streets within the said election
district as they, the said County Commissioners, may deem or
determine to be most in need thereof.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That all Acts and parts of Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland inconsistent herewith be
and the same are hereby repealed.
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 704.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments the para-
graph entitled "Buildings," of Section 6 of Article 4, entitled
"City of Baltimore," of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, as the same was repealed and re-enacted with
amendments by Chapter 797 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland for the year 1906.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the paragraph entitled "Buildings," of Section 6 of
Article 4, entitled "City of Baltimore," of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, as the same was repealed and re-
