more County under the provisions of Chapter 293 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland of the Session of 1896;
to prosecute all persons or bodies corporate violating any of
the game or fish laws of this State in force in Baltimore
County, and to obtain information as to all violations of said
game and fish laws. And it shall be the duty of said Chief
Game Warden of Baltimore County to receive and safely keep
all moneys paid over to him by the Clerk of the Circuit Court
for Baltimore County, or by or from any other person or
source, by virtue of and through his said office of Chief Game
Warden of Baltimore County. And he shall file a bond in the
office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County in
the penalty of two thousand dollars, conditioned for the faith-
ful performance of his duties as Chief Game Warden for Balti-
more County, which bond shall be approved by the Clerk of
the Circuit Court for Baltimore County. Said Chief Game
Warden shall report by itemized sworn account at least once
a year all receipts and disbursements made by him and under
the provisions of this Act.

SEC. 17B. Be it enacted, That the Chief Game Warden of
Baltimore County shall, after the recording of the oath or
affirmation to be by him so taken in said Baltimore County, be
a conservator of the peace, and shall also have and exercise all
the power and authority had, given to and exercised by game
wardens appointed under Chapter 293 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland of the Session of 1896.

SEC. 17c. Be it enacted, That any person violating any of
the provisions of this Act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor,
and upon conviction shall be fined not less than $5.00 nor more
than $50.00, unless such conviction and fine be otherwise pro-
vided for in this Act.

SEC. 17D. Be it enacted, That all Acts and parts of Acts of
the General Assembly of Maryland inconsistent therewith be
and the same are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 498.

AN ACT to authorize and require the County Commissioners
of Baltimore County to make a special levy of not more than
twenty cents on each one hundred dollars of the whole
assessable property situate in the village of Lakeland, Balti-
more County, for the use and purpose of the betterment of
