pheasant, partridge, jacksnipe, rabbit, or squirrel taken, shot,
killed or had in possession contrary to the provision of this
section, and costs, and in default the offender shall be confined
to the House of Correction or county jail for not less than ten
days nor more than thirty days; the whole of said fine shall
go to the informer or person or persons securing the conviction
thereof. And such licensee shall have said license in his pos-
session when gunning or hunting, and shall exhibit the same
whenever called upon by any game warden or citizen of said
county so to do, and upon refusal to so exhibit such person so
refusing shall be subject to the fines and penalties hereinbefore
provided for non-compliance with the provisions of this sec-
tion. Nothing in this section shall apply to any person or
persons owning or leasing land in Baltimore County from gun-
ning, hunting, pursuing during the open season the birds and
animals named in this Act upon the lands so owned or'leased
by said person or persons.

SEC. 11. Any owner who shall permit his dog or dogs to run
at large during the closed season, and pursue or kill, harm or
destroy any birds or game mentioned in the two preceding
sections, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon
conviction thereof be subject to a fine of five dollars and costs
for each and every offense, said fine to go to informer, person
or persons securing the conviction, or imprisonment in jail
for five days, in the discretion of the Court or Justice of the
Peace imposing said fine or sentence, except any owner between
September 1st and November 9th, exclusive of both dates, shall
be permitted to run or train his dogs; provided he accompany
them; but in so doing he shall not be allowed or permitted to
carry a gun. Any person or persons who shall harbor or
permit any dog to remain on or about their premises shall be
deemed the owner of such dog for the purpose of enforcing
this section.

SEC. 12. All moneys received by the Clerk of the Circuit
Court for Baltimore County for license issued under Section 7
of this Act shall be paid over to the Chief Game Warden for
Baltimore County, whose appointement is hereinafter provided
for by this Act, and expended as hereinafter provided for.

SEC. 13. All game wardens and the State Game Warden are
hereby empowered to make arrests without a warrant of any
person or persons upon their seeing or knowing of any viola-
tion of any of the foregoing sections, and are hereby expressly
exempted from any liability because of any arrest he or they
make while in the performance of their duties.

SEC. 14. Every person who is an actual resident of Balti-
more County shall be entitled to an allowance from the county
