BALTIMORE COUNTY. 571

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 284 of Chapter 495 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland, 1908, entitled "An Act to repeal
Article 3 of the Public Local Laws of Maryland," title "Balti-
more County," be repealed and re-enacted with amendments so
as to read as follows:

284. The Orphans' Court of Baltimore County shall meet on

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of each week only at ten
o'clock A. M., and continue their sessions for such length of
time on each of such days as in their judgment the public
interests require.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
May 1st, 1910.

Approved April 7, 1910.

CHAPTER 199.

AN ACT to repeal Chapter 198 of Article 3 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Baltimore County,"
subtitle "Police and Police Stations," of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Ses-
sion 1908, and also to repeal and re-enact with amendments
Sections 289, 290, 292 and 293 of Article 8 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Baltimore County,"
relating to police and police stations, as enacted by Chapter
495 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed
at the January Session, nineteen hundred and eight.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 198 of Article 3 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Baltimore County," subtitle "Police
and Police Stations/ of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland, passed at the January Session, nineteen hundred
and eight, be and the same is hereby repealed, and Sections
289, 290, 292 and 293 of Article 3 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "Baltimore County," relating to police
and police stations, as enacted by Chapter 495 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January
Session, nineteen hundred and eight, be and the same are
hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to read
as follows:

SEC. 289. And be it enacted, That all appointments hereafter
made to the police force of Baltimore County shall be made
from the qualified voters thereof, and all applications for such
appointments shall be made upon printed blanks to be fur-
