MISCELLANEOUS APPROPRIATIONS. 437
CHAPTER 42.

AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to meet the additional
expenses of the Legislature of Maryland for the Session of
1910.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sum of fifty thousand dollars, or so much
thereof as may be necessary, be and the same is hereby appro-
priated to pay the members and officers of the General Assem-
bly, as well as all miscellaneous expenses of said session, in
accordance with Chapter 254 of the Acts of 1908.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the Treasurer of the State
shall, on the warrant of the Comptroller, disburse the said
sum of money herein appropriated for the objects and purposes
herein specified, to or upon the order of the person or persons
entitled to receive the same.

SEC. 3. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage-

CHAPTER 435.

AN ACT making appropriations for the support of the State
Government for the fiscal year ending on the thirtieth day of
September, nineteen hundred and eleven.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That for the expenditures in the support of the State
Government for the fiscal year beginning with the first day of
October, nineteen hundred and ten, and ending with the
thirtieth day of September, nineteen hundred and eleven, the
following sums of money, or so much thereof as may be neces-
sary, be and the same are hereby appropriated, that is to say:

FOR STATE OFFICERS.

For the salary of the Governor, four thousand five hundred
dollars; for the salary of the Secretary of State, two thousand
dollars; for the salary of the chief clerk to the Governor, two
thousand dollars; for the salary of one clerk to the Governor,
twelve hundred dollars; for the salary of the messenger to the
Governor, one thousand dollars; for the salary of a stenogra-
pher to the Governor, twelve hundred dollars; for the salary of
the Comptroller of the Treasury, two thousand five hundred
dollars; for the salary of the chief clerk to the Comptroller,
two thousand dollars; for the salaries of three assistant clerks
to the Comptroller, fifteen hundred dollars each, forty-five
