association of the Maryland Line, as to the service of the
deceased.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That in no case shall the expense
of interment be paid when the deceased is buried in a cemetery
or county plot used exclusively for interment of paupers or
public charges.
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the sum of fifteen hundred
dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby ap-
propriated for the fiscal year 1910, and the like sum of fifteen
hundred dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, for
the fiscal year 1911, for the objects above mentioned; and of
the sum of fifteen hundred dollars herein appropriated the
sum of seven hundred and fifty dollars ($750), and no more,
shall be annually applied to and be disbursed for the payment
of the interment of United States soldiers, sailors and mari-
ners, and seven hundred and fifty dollars ($750), and no more,
shall be annually applied to and be disbursed for the payment
of the interment of Confederate soldiers, sailors and mariners.

CHAPTER 714.
AN ACT appropriating the sum of two thousand dollars to the
Board of Trustees of the Fifth Regiment Armory for the
maintenance and protection of the armory building during
the fiscal year ending September thirtieth, nineteen hundred
and twelve.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sum of two thousand dollars be and the same is
hereby appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury of the
State of Maryland not otherwise appropriated, to the Board of
Trustees of the Fifth Regiment Armory to be expended by
direction of said board in the maintenance, care and protection
of the Armory building during the fiscal year ending on the
thirtieth day of September, nineteen hundred and twelve; and
the Comptroller of the Treasury be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to issue his warrant upon the Treasurer for such
amounts, and payable to such person or persons, including
therein the treasurer of said board, as the said Board of Trus-
tees may from time to time require and direct in writing for
the purpose aforesaid, but not exceeding, however, the said
sum of two thousand dollars.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from and after the first day of October, nineteen hundred and
eleven.
