76. To the Locust Point Settlement, the sum of five hun-
dred dollars for the fiscal year 1911, and the like sum of five
hundred dollars for the fiscal year 1912.
77. To the Northeastern Dispensary, the sum of seven hun-
dred and fifty dollars for the fiscal year 1911, and the like sum
of seven hundred and fifty dollars for the fiscal year 1912.
78. To the Baltimore General Dispensary, the sum of five
hundred dollars for the fiscal year 1911, and the like sum of
five hundred dollars for the fiscal year 1912.
7.9. To the Southern Dispensary, the sum of five hundred
dollars for the fiscal year 1911, and the like sum of five hun-
dred dollars for the fiscal year 1912.
80. To the Maryland Society for the Protection of Children,
the sum of one thousand dollars for the fiscal year 1911, and
the like sum of one thousand dollars for the fiscal year 1912.
81. To the Anne Arundel Academy, the sum of three thou-
sand dollars for the fiscal year 1911, and the like sum of three
thousand dollars for the fiscal year 1912.
82. To Charlotte Hall School, St. Mary's County, the sum
of five thousand dollars for the fiscal year 1911, and the like
sum of five thousand dollars for the fiscal year 1912; said
money to be used in accordance with the provisions of Chapter
321 of the Acts of 1898.
83. To Johns Hopkins University, the sum of twenty-five
thousand dollars for the fiscal year 1911, and the like sum of
twenty-five thousand dollars for the fiscal year 1912.
84. To F. Knapp's English and German Institute, Balti-
more City, the sum of twelve hundred dollars for the fiscal
year 1911, and the like sum of twelve hundred dollars for the
fiscal year 1912; and in consideration of said appropriation
the said F. Knapp's English and German Institute is hereby
required and directed to maintain twelve free scholarships,
heretofore established in said institution for the training and
education of indigent mutes, and to train and educate twelve
indigent mutes and to furnish them with necessary text-books,
appliances, etc.
85. To the Maryland Institute for the Promotion of the
Mechanic Arts, the sum of fifteen thousand dollars for the
fiscal year 1911, and the like sum of fifteen thousand dollars
for the fiscal year 1912; provided one free scholarship be re-
ceived from each county of the State and one from each legis-
lative district of Baltimore City, respectively, upon the ap-
proval of the State Senator of each county and the legislative
districts of Baltimore City.
