On Page 10 of the enrolled Act under the caption Miscel-
laneous, the item, "For salaries and expenses of Veterinary
Inspectors and for the appraised value of animals and build-
ings destroyed to prevent the spread of infectious and con-
tagious diseases among live stock, fifteen thousand dollars
($15,000.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary thereof."
is hereby approved to the extent or amount of ten thousand
dollars ($10,000.00), or so much thereof as may be necessary,
and is disapproved to the extent or amount of five thousand
dollars thereof.
On Page 12 of the enrolled Act under the caption Legisla-
ture, the item- "And for the above expenses of the Legislature
the sum of two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000.00) or so
much thereof as may be necessary" is approved to the extent
or amount of one hundred and fifty thousand dollars
($150,000.00), or so much thereof as may be necessary,
and is disapproved to the extent or amount of fifty thousand
dollars ($50,000.00) thereof.
On Page 12 of the enrolled Act under the caption Legisla-
ture, the item "For the printing of the General Assembly of
nineteen hundred and twelve, eighteen thousand five hundred
dollars ($18,500.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary"
is approved to the extent or amount of thirteen thousand five
hundred dollars ($13,500.00) or so much thereof as may be
necessary, and is disapproved to the extent or amount of five
thousand dollars ($5,000.00) thereof.
CHAPTER 409.
AN ACT to appropriate certain sums of money to the support
of sundry schools and charitable institutions in the S fate of
Maryland, for each of the two fiscal years ending on the
thirtieth day of September, 1911, and on the thirtieth day of
September, 1912, respectively.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the sums of money hereinafter named be and they
are hereby apporpriated to the support of the hereinafter men-
tioned schools and charitable institutions in the State for each
of the two fiscal years ending on the thirtieth day of Septem-
ber, 1911, and on the thirtieth day of September, 1912, re-
spectively, to wit:
1. To the House of Good Shepherd, the sum of three thou-
sand dollars for the fiscal year 1911, and the like sum of three
thousand dollars for the fiscal year 1912, to be issued in ac-
cordance with the provisions of Section 328 of Article 27 of
the Code of Public General Laws.
