1412 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

offered a primary pro rata right of subscription and purchase
in respect of any stock so to be issued and sold, at the price so
determined; and provided further, that a certificate, under the
corporate seal of the railway company, attested by its secre-
tary and signed by its president, setting forth the amount of the
stock so issued and sold or so to be issued and sold, the price or
value at which the same has been or is to be sold, and that such
issue, sale and price or value have been duly authorized by the
directors and approved by the stockholders of the railway com-
pany as aforesaid, be filed, within 30 days from the date of
the action of the stockholders in the premises, in the office of
the Secretary of State.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 329.

AN ACT to repeal Chapter 364 of the Acts of 1868, en-
titled "An Act to incorporate the Baltimore and Drum
Point Railroad Company," and also to repeal Chapter
159 of the Acts of 1872; Chapter 389 of the Acts of
1874; Chapter 337 of the Acts of 1876; Chapter 200 of
the Acts of 1880; Chapter 201 of the Acts of 1880; Chapter
287 of the Acts of 1884; Chapter 46 of the Acts of 1890;
Chapter 219 of the Acts of 1890; being amendments to the
said Chapter 364 of the Acts of 1868; and to repeal Chapter
271 of the Acts of 1896, entitled "An Act to amend and re-
enact the charter of the Baltimore and Drum Point Railroad
Company, and to change the name of said corporation to the
Baltimore and Southern Railroad Company," and Chapter
159 of the Acts of 1900, being an amendment thereto.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 364 of the Acts of 1868, entitled "An Act
to incorporate the Baltimore and Drum Point Railroad Com-
pany," and Chapter 159 of the Acts of 1872; Chapter 389 of the
Acts of 1874; Chapter 337 of the Acts of 1876; Chapter 200 of
the Acts of 1880; Chapter 201 of the Acts of 1880; Chapter 287
of the Acts of 1884; Chapter 46 of the Acts of 1890; Chapter
219 of the Acts of 1890, being amendments to the said Chapter
364 of the Acts of 1868; and Chapter 271 of the Acts of 1896,
entitled "An Act to amend and re-enact the charter of the
Baltimore and Drum Point Railroad Company and to change
the name of said corporation to the Baltimore and Southern
Railroad Company," and Chapter 159 of the Acts of 1900,
being an amendment thereto, be and the same are hereby re-
