Gibson and wife to the Reverend James (Cardinal) Gibbons,
Archbishop of Baltimore, and his successors in the Archiepis-
copal See of Baltimore, according to the discipline of the
Roman Catholic Church, his successors and assigns, in fee
simple of certain real estate in St. Mary's County, said deed
being of record among the Land Records of St. Mary's County
in Liber E. B. A., No. 7, folio 522, and dated May 22d, 1909,
and to the holding, selling, mortgaging or otherwise disposing
of the same.

CHAPTER 78.
AN ACT to extend and enlarge the powers and privileges of
"The Deals Island Bank of Somerset County," a corporation
formed under the provisions of the Public General Laws of
Maryland, and to change the name of said corporation.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the name of "The Deals Island Bank of Somerset
County," a corporation formed under the provisions of the
Public General Laws of Maryland, be and the same is hereby
changed to the "Deals Island Bank," and by that name said
corporation shall have perpetual succession.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said corporation, in
addition to the powers and privileges conferred upon it by its
certificate of incorporation, which is hereby ratified and con-
firmed, shall have the further rights, privileges and powers
conferred by this Act.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the said corporation shall
have the power to borrow money, to receive money on deposit,
to lend money or discount in accordance with bank usage, to
lend money on note, mortgage and other security, real or
personal, and to buy and sell bills of exchange, notes, bonds,
mortgages or other securities, and to do and transact a general
banking business; provided, however, that said company shall
be subject to the provisions of Article 11 of the Public General
Laws of this State, title "Banks," and any amendments thereof,
and the liability of the stockholders thereof shall at all times
be determined by the laws of the State in force at the time the
said liabilities may attach.
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
