PRIVATE ACTS. 1279

pal Church, (k) To the bequest of one-seventh of the residue
of the estate of said Lydia C. Shaw to the Board of Church Ex-
tension of the Methodist Episcopal Church. (1) To the bequest
of one-seventh of the residue of the estate of said Lydia C. Shaw
to the Baltimore Deaconess' Home of the Methodist Episcopal
Church, located at 706 West Lombard street, Baltimore, Mary-
land, (m) To the bequest of one-seventh of the residue of the
estate of said Lydia C. Shaw to the Woman's Christian Tem-
perance Union of Kent county, Maryland, (n) To the bequest
of one-seventh of the residue of the estate of said Lydia C. Shaw
to the Home of the Aged of the Methodist Episcopal Church of
Baltimore City, located at Fulton avenue and Franklin street,
Baltimore City, Maryland, (o) To the bequest of one-seventh
of the residue of the estate of said Lydia C. Shaw to the Young
Woman's Christian Association of Baltimore City, located at
Franklin street and Park avenue, Baltimore, Maryland, to the
sale and grant of the lot of ground and premises situate in Bal-
timore City, State of Maryland, particularly described in a
deed from John H. Taylor and Ella Taylor, his wife, dated the
29th day of October, 1909, and recorded among the Land Rec-
ords of Baltimore City, in Liber S. C. L., No. 2546, folio 302,
and to the holdings of said lot of ground and premises by said
body corporate.

SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

Approved April 11th, 1910.

CHAPTER 455.

AN ACT to amend the charter of the Baltimore City Hospital
Training School for Nurses of the city of Baltimore.

Whereas, The Baltimore City Hospital Training School for
Nurses of the city of Baltimore is a corporation without capi-
tal stock, duly incorporated under and by virtue of the Gen-
eral Laws of this State, its certificate of incorporation being
recorded among the Charter Records of Baltimore City, in
Liber R. O. No. 40, folio 381, etc.; and,

Whereas, Said corporation is desirous of changing its name, by
substituting the word "Mercy" in the place of the words
"Baltimore City" in its corporate name; therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the name of the Baltimore City Hospital Training
School for Nurses of the City of Baltimore, a corporation duly
incorporated under and by virtue of the General Laws of this
State, be and the same is hereby changed to The Mercy Hospi-
tal Training School for Nurses of the city of Baltimore, and by
