PRIVATE ACTS. 1225

vided, be and are hereby incorporated and made a body politic
and corporate by the name of the Trustees of the Cemetery of the
Grove Presbyterian Church in Harford County, Maryland."

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That Section 5 of Chapter 21 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of the Session of
1908, entitled "An Act to Incorporate the Trustees of the Ceme-
tery of the Grove Presbyterian Church in Harford County,
Maryland," be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted
with amendments so as to read as follows:

"That annually, after the expiration of one year from the date
of the passage of this Act, on such day in each year as may be
appointed under Section 4 of this Act, the adult members of the
Congregation of the Grove Presbyterian Church in Harford
County, Maryland, who attend said church and contribute to
the maintenance thereof, together with the adults who own one
or more lots in said cemetery, and whose names appear on the
books of said corporation as owners of said lots at the date of
said election, shall choose from the adult members of the Grove
Presbyterian Church, in full communion with said church,
seven persons who shall from and after their election become
members of the' said corporation and remain such for the space
of one year and until their successors are chosen, as herein pro-
vided ; provided, however, that not more than three of the per-
sons to be chosen at any election may be women, and pro-
vided further, that no woman may be a member of the said
corporation whose husband is a member of the said corpora-
tion; and as many of said adult members of said church and
said adult owners of said lots as shall attend at any meeting,
for the purpose of said elections, shall be competent to choose
the members aforesaid."

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That all acts done by the said
George K. McGaw, Jarret T. Baldwin, John Archer Mitchell,
John M. Michael, Morgan Mitchell, C. H. Johnson and Howard
H. Mitchell, under and in the name of the Trustees of the
Cemetery of the Grove Presbyterian Church in Harford County,
Maryland, be and the same are hereby made valid and of the
same force and effect as though the name of the said body cor-
porate had been staged in Section 1 of Chapter 21 of the Acts
of the General Assembly of Maryland of the Session of 1908,
as the "Trustees of the Cemetery of the Grove Presbyterian
Church in Harford County, Maryland."

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.
