CHAPTER 591.
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 22 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Washington County,"
subtitle "County Commissioners," the same to follow Section
91 and to be known as Section 91 A.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That an additional section be and the same is hereby added
to Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
the same to follow Section 91 and to be known as Section 9lA
and read as follows:
Section 91 A. The County Commissioners of Washington
County shall each receive five dollars per day for each day they
shall be engaged in the discharge of their duties; provided,
however, the total amount of money paid to each County Com-
missioner shall not exceed the sum of five hundred dollars
($500) in any one year. The County Commissioners shall each
receive mileage at the rate of ten cents for every mile over six
miles from the places of residence.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all Acts or parts of Acts in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 535.
AN ACT to regulate the use of the Courthouse in Hagerstown,
Washington County, Maryland.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That it shall be unlawful for any person to occupy any
part of the Courthouse in Hagerstown, Washington County,
Maryland, as a fixed or habitual place for the conduct and
transaction of any regular private profession, trade, occupa-
tion or line of business.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the County Commissioners
of Washington County shall not, directly or indirectly, suffer
or permit any person to occupy any part of the Courthouse in
Hagerstown, Washington County, Maryland, as a fixed or ha-
bitual place for the conduct and transaction of any regular
private profession, trade, occupation or line of business.
SEC. 3. And be it enacted. That any person violating the
provisions of this section shall suffer and pay a fine of not less
