CHAPTER 378.
AN ACT to repeal Sections 119 and 124 of Article 20 of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Somerset County," subtitle
"Fish," and to re-enact the same with amendments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 119 and 124 of Article 20 of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "Somerset County," subtitle "Fish,"
be and the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to
read as follows:
SEC. 119. It shall be unlawful for any persons, except resi-
dent citizens of Somerset County, to fix, set or stake out any
sort of gill-net, either stationary or floating, or any device what-
soever for the catching or taking of herring, shad or other kinds
of fish in the waters of Monie bay, Monie creek or its tribu-
taries in Somerset County; provided, that nothing in this sec-
tion shall be construed to prevent the citizens of Wicomico
County from using the waters of the Wicomico river in common
with the citizens of Somerset County; and the citizens of Som-
erset County shall have no other or greater rights or privileges
than the citizens of Wicomico County have in the waters of the
said Wicomico river.
SEC. 124. It shall be unlawful for any persons, except citi-
zens of Somerset County, to use any patent twine, weirs, pound
nets or hedges for the taking of fish in the waters of said
county; provided, that nothing in this section shall be con-
strued to prevent the citizens of Wicomico County from using
the waters of the Wicomico river in common with the citizens
of Somerset County; and the citizens of Somerset County shall
have no other or greater rights or privileges than the citizens of
Wicomico County have in the waters of the said Wicomico
river.
SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 184.
AN ACT to repeal Section 198 of the Code of Public Local
Laws, Article 20, title "Somerset County," subtitle "Princess
Anne," as amended by Chapter 543 of the Acts of 1894 and
by Chapter 138 of the Acts of 1904, and to re-enact the same
with amendments.
