QUEEN ANNE'S COUNTY. 1057

CHAPTER 369.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 133c
of Article 18 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "Queen Anne's County," subtitle "County Treasurer,"
as the said section was enacted by Chapter 235 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of Maryland at the January Session,
1898, and to add twelve additional sections to said Article
18, to come in after Section 133c, and to be designated as
Sections 133c-l, 133c-2, 133c-3, 133c-4, 133c-5, 133c-6, 133c-7,
133c-8, 133c-9, 133c-10, 133c-ll and 133c-12, and to repeal all
laws or parts of laws inconsistent with the provisions of this
Act.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 133c of Article 18 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of the State of Maryland, title "Queen Anne's
County," subtitle "County Treasurer," as said section was
enacted by Chapter 235 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland at the January Session, eighteen hundred and
ninety-eight, be and the same is hereby repealed and re-
enacted with amendments, and that twelve new sections be
and the same are hereby added to said Article 18 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Queen Anne's
County," subtitle "County Treasurer," to come in after said
Section 133c, and to be designated as Sections 133c-l, 133c-2,
133c-3, 133c-4, 133c-5, 133c-6, 133c-7, 133c-8, 133c-9, 133c-10,
133c-11 and 133c-12, all of same to read as follows:

SEC. 133c. On the first day of January, in each year, taxes
shall be deemed to be in arrears, and interest shall be charged
and collected on all taxes not then paid from September 1st,
the date when they became due and payable, and between the
first day of January and the fifteenth day of January, the
County Treasurer shall cause to be published as an advertise-
ment in two newspapers printed and published in said county
a list of such delinquents, together with the amount of taxes
due by each, and the interest due thereon; and he shall deliver
or mail to each of such delinquents between the first day of
April and the fifteenth day of April in each year an account
of his assessment, and the taxes and interest due thereon, with
a notice of warning to such delinquent thereto attached that,
unless payment be made in full on or by the first day of July
next, the same will be collected by process of law; and if on
the said first day of July next the said taxes, interest and
costs are unpaid, he shall immediately thereafter make up an
additional list of all delinquents assessed with real estate, giv-
ing the name of the persons assessed, with a brief description
of the property, the district of its location and such references
