CHAPTER 22.
AN ACT to fix the minimum rate of taxation for public school
purposes in Prince George's county.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the- General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Prince George's Coun-
ty are directed to levy for the year 1910, and annually there-
after, a tax of not less than twenty-five cents on each one hun-
dred dollars of assessed property for the support of the public
schools of Prince George's county.
SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That all Acts or parts of Acts not
consistent with this Act be and the same are hereby repealed.
SEC. 3. Be it enacted, That this Act 'shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 29.
AN ACT to authorize and direct the Board of County Commis
sioners of Prince George's County, Maryland, to pay unto
Charles L. Turner and Richard B. B. Chew and S. Marvin
Peach the sum of one hundred and fifty dollars each; and to
pay unto T. Van Clagett the sum of fifty dollars for extra
services rendered as Supervisors of Elections for said county.
.Whereas, Charles L. Turner and Richard B. B. Chew and S.
Marvin Peach, constituting the Board of Election Supervi-
sors of Prince George's County, Maryland, for the year 1909.
performed the duties upon them imposed as such Super-
visors by the provisions of Chapter 737 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1908, and there is no. pro-
vision in the existing law authorizing any compensation for
said services; and,
Whereas, T. Van Clagett, one of the members of the Board of
Supervisors of Election for Prince George's County, Mary-
land, for the year 1908, performed the duties upon him im-
posed as such Supervisors by Chapter 347 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland of 1908, and has never re-
ceived any compensation therefor; now therefore,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Board of County Commissioners of Prince
George's County, Maryland, be and it is hereby authorized and
directed to pay unto Charles L. Turner the sum of one hundred
and fifty dollars, and to pay unto Richard B. B. Chew the sum
of one hundred and fifty dollars, and to pay unto S. Marvin
