1030 LAWS OF MARYLAND.

SEC. 9. And be it enacted,, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Approved April 5, 1910.

CHAPTER 88.

AN ACT to prohibit the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors
within one mile of Oxon Hill Methodist Episcopal Church
in Election District No. 12, Prince George's county, Mary-
land.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That it shall not be lawful for the Board of Liquor Li-
cense Commissioners, or any other person or persons who may
be authorized by any Act of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, to issue license for the sale of spirituous or fermented
liquors in Prince George's county, Maryland, to issue any such
license to any person or persons or body corporate to sell spir-
ituous or fermented liquors nearer than one mile in all direc-
tions from Oxon Hill Methodist Episcopal Church, in Election
District No. 12, Prince George's county, Maryland.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on and after April 30, 1911.

CHAPTER 21.

AN ACT to provide for the erection and equipment of a public
school house in the second precinct of the Thirteenth Dis-
trict of Prince George's county, State of Maryland, and for
the issuing of bonds for the payment of the same.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That George N. Palmer, George W. Sanford. Robert
Kraft, George McDuell, William F. Holmead, Frank A.
Schwallenberg and Francis A. Carmody be and they are hereby
constituted a building committee for the purpose of purchasing
a lot or lots in the Second Precinct of the Thirteenth Election
District of Prince George's county, State of Maryland; said
lots to be situated within a radius of one-half mile of the
district line station of the Chesapeake Beach Railroad, and
erecting and furnishing on the lot or lots purchased a public
school building, to be used for public school purposes for the
pupils of the vicinity, free from any charge for instruction
therein whatsoever.
