ments issued out of the Circuit Court or issued by the Justices
of the Peace of said county and recorded as proivded by law in
the office of the Clerk of said county; and likewise to record in
substantial books all proceedings of his office, whether at law
or in chancery affecting title to land and proper to be recorded
as now provided or hereafter directed by law.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That the aforesaid Clerk is au-
thorized and directed to provide and maintain dockets and
general indexes thereto of all proceedings filed in his office by
the Treasurer of Prince George's county and to provide and
maintain a special docket and index thereto, to be designated
and known as the Tax Sale Book, in which shall appear under
proper index the name of each and every person in whose name
property has or may hereafter be sold for a default in the pay
ment of taxes which sales have or may hereafter be reported to
the Circuit Court as provided by law, which docket shall be
provided with space to enter the time of redemption of the said
property so sold and reported, and space for such other entries
as shall afford complete and accurate information relative to
the legal status of all property sold as aforesaid for a default
in the payment of taxes or the redemption thereof; and the
Treasurer of said county is hereby authorized and directed to
report to the said Clerk of the Circuit Court the redemption, of
all property sold for taxes for which report the said Treasurer
shall be authorized to charge a fee of twenty-five cents for each
redemption as reported, which fee shall be charged as a part
of the penalty and costs as to said sale for taxes, to be paid by
the person redeeming said property and all such fees so col-
lected shall be credited to the redemption fund now or here-
after provided by law relative to the duty of the said Treasurer.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That when and as the dockets
and indexes as herein provided are completed the County Com-
missioners of Prince George's county be and they are hereby
authorized and directed to levy for said purpose an amount
sufficient to pay what is a fair and reasonable charge for the
work aforesaid as well as for the cost, and proper expense for
the books furniture and fixtures requisite to preserve and keep
the said records in good order and shape; provided that the
cost of the work herein authorized and directed shall first be
met out of the curent fees of the office of the said Clerk over
and above the amount necessary to pay the salaries of said
office and expenses of said Clerk as fixed by law.

SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That all Acts and parts of Acts
inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are hereby re-
pealed.
