the Indian Head and Glymont school buildings. "

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That any cost and ex-
pense necessary for the acquisition of said land, and the cost
and expense of constructing, equipping and establishing said
High School, shall be paid for as follows: Eight thousand dol-
lars thereof shall be paid by the State, as provided in Section
1 of this Act. The remainder, which shall not exceed four
thousand dollars, shall be realized and paid in the following
manner:

The County Board of Education of Charles County is here-

and lot known as the Indian Head public school and the public
school building and lot known as the Glymont public school,
each of said sales to be at public auction to the highest bidder,
after advertisement published once a week for not less than
three weeks in two newspapers of Charles County. From th*e
proceeds of such sales, there shall first be deducted the costs
and expenses of such sales, and the balance of such proceeds
shall thereupon be paid and applied by the County Board of

ceed the difference between the net amount realized from said
sales and the sum of four thousand dollars, shall be realized
and paid as follows: The County Commissioners of Charles
County are hereby authorized and directed to include in their
annual levy first succeeding the passage of this Act, a levy upon
all the taxable property of Charles County sufficient to raise
one-half of said balance, and a levy upon the taxable property
of Precinct No. 2 of the 7th Election District of Charles Coun-
ty sufficient to raise the other half of said balance; and the
sums so levied shall be applied to the payment of the aforesaid
balance of the cost and expense of said High School.

SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That upon the comple-
tion of said High School the same shall become part of the
public school system of this State, in accordance with the gen-
eral laws of the State applicable thereto.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from and after June 1, 1918.
