tical, to build, construct and thereafter maintain as a part of
the State Road System, an improved highway from the inter-
section of Central and Crystal Spring Avenues, Prince George's
County, south along said Crystal Spring Avenue to the said
Marlboro Pike, Prince George's County, Maryland, a distance
of about a little over a mile.

CHAPTER 400:

AN ACT to repeal Section 173 of Article 23 of the Annotated
Code of Public Civil Laws of Maryland (legalized by Chap-
ter 21 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of
1912), title "Corporations," sub-title "Insurance Compa-
nies;" to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
154L, Section 154X and Section 154Y of said Article, title
and sub-title as aforesaid, as enacted by Chapter 256 of the
Acts of 1916, relating to the organization, management and
business of mutual fire insurance companies, and repealing
the provisions thereof relating to reciprocal or inter-insurance
exchanges; and further, to amend said Article 23, title and
sub-title as aforesaid, by adding thereto thirteen new and
additional sections, to follow immediately after Section
15 4Y, and to be designated and known, respectively, as Sec-
tions 154AA, 154AB, 154AC, 154AD, 154AE, 154AF,
154AG, 154AH, 154AI, 154AJ, 154AK, 154AL and
154AM, said thirteen new sections authorizing and regulat-
ing the exchange of certain classes of reciprocal or inter-
insurance contracts among individuals, partnerships and cor-
porations, empowering corporations generally to make suck
contracts, regulating process in suits on such contracts, fix-
ing certain fees and providing penalties for violations of this
Act.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
land, That Section 173 of Article 23 of the Annotated Code of
Public Civil Laws of Maryland (legalized by Chapter 21 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1912), title
"Corporations," sub-title "Insurance Companies," be and the
same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted as aforesaid, That Sec-
tion 154L, Section 154X and Section 154Y of said Article 23,
