SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 8-A be hereby added to Chapter 338
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Balti-
more County," sub-title "Birds and Game," to read as follows :
Section 8-A. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That a closed season of two years from June
1st, 1918, shall be had on Ring Neck or English Pheas-
ants. Said closed season to extend until the opening of
the regular season following this closed period. And during
said closed period it shall be unlawful to catch, or kill, or hunt,
or shoot, or have in possession, or sell, or offer for sale any such
Ring Neck or English Pheasants in Baltimore County. This
not to apply, however, to the possession of live birds for propa-
gation purposes. Any person or persons, or corporation vio-
lating the provisions of this Section shall be guilty of a mis-
demeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined the sum
of ten dollars ($10.00) for the first bird taken or had in posses-
sion in violation of the provisions of this Section, and the sum
of twenty dollars ($20.00) for each and every bird killed or
had in possession in violation hereof, after said first bird.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Laws or parts
of Laws both general or local inconsistent with the provisions
of this Act shall be and the same are hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 398.
AN ACT to provide for the punishment of any person who wil-
fully damages or destroys any game pen, fence or other en-
closure, or who wilfully poisons, kills, wounds, destroys,
removes or steals any game birds or game animals, their
young or their eggs while kept or maintained in any game
pen, fence or other enclosure used for the purpose of raising
and propagating of game birds and game animals without
the consent of tie owner of the land on which the same may
be located.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to
wilfully damage or destroy any game pen, fence or other en-
closure used for the purpose of raising and propagating of
game birds and game animals, constructed or maintained upon
