SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That said corporation may loan
money on mortgages or sales agreements, and may purchase
any mortgage or sales agreement, and take an assignment there-
of from any corporation or individual, and shall hold any such
mortgage or sales agreement with all the rights, powers and
privileges of the corporation or individual assigning the same,
and may enforce any stipulation in the same and foreclose, as-
sign or release the same as fully and effectively as the assignor
could have done.
SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That the said corporation shall
be subject to the provisions of Article 11 of the Public General
Laws of this State, title "Banks," and amendments thereof,
and the liability of the stockholders thereof shall at all times
be determined by the laws of the State in force at the time said
liabilities may attach.
SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That the General Assembly of
Maryland hereby reserves to itself the right to alter, amend or
repeal this Act at its pleasure.

CHAPTER 371.
AN ACT to authorize and empower the Baltimore and Spar-
row's Point Railroad Company to maintain and reconstruct
railroad bridges over Colgate and Bear Creeks, in the State
of Maryland.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the action heretofore taken by the Board of Public
Works of the State of Maryland, approving, plans for the
bridges to be constructed by the Baltimore and Sparrow's Point
Railroad Company over Colgate and Bear Creeks, or either
of them, and the subsequent construction of the said bridges
by the Baltimore and Sparrow's Point Railroad Company, be
and the same are hereby ratified and confirmed, as fully to all
intents and purposes as if authority and power to construct
the same had been conferred on the said Baltimore and Spar-
row's Point Railroad Company by the General Assembly of
Maryland prior to the date or dates on which the plans for the
said bridges, or either of them, were first approved by the said
Board of Public Works.
