CHAPTER 327.
AN ACT to add seven new sections to Article 1 of the Code
of Local Laws of Maryland, title "Allegany County," sub-
title "Fish," and providing for license to non-residents of
Maryland, for fishing in said County, said sections to be
known as Sections 122, 122-A, 122-B, 122-C, 122-D, 122-E,
122-F.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That seven new sections be and the same are hereby
added to Article 1 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
"Allegany County," sub-title "Fish," to be known as Sections
122, 122-A, 122-B, 122-C, 122-D, 122-E, 122-F, and to read
as follows:
Section 122. It shall be unlawful for any person or per-
sons to fish in any waters in Allegany County with any seine,
net, weir or other implement for catching fish except as here-
inafter provided from December 1st to June 15th, next ensu-
ing, providing that it shall be lawful to catch and take suckers
in the waters of Allegany County with a dip-net (the mesh to
be not less than one inch square) or with rod line and single
hook during the period from February 15th to April 15th,
both inclusive; provided, further, that from June 15th to De-
cember 1st, inclusive, it shall be lawful to take and catch with
dip-net, seine or rod and line, minnows or other small fish to
be used for live bait, such minnows or other small fish not to
include bass, pike, white or yellow perch, fall-fish or trout;
nothing in this section shall prevent any Deputy Game War-
den of Allegany County or any person with a written consent of
such Deputy Game Warden from catching any fish at any time
in any way for the purpose of propagation or the stocking of
other streams or for scientific purposes.
Section 122-A. It shall be unlawful to take or catch from
any of the streams of Allegany County or have in possession
any bass under seven inches, pike under fourteen inches, white
or yellow perch under eight inches, trout under six inches,
sunfish under four inches or suckers under six inches, fall-fish
under seven inches, or catfish under six inches, and the meas-
urement of fish shall be from the end of nose to center fork of
tail.
Section 122-B. From and after the passage of this Act and
until the fifteenth day of April, 1920, it shall be unlawful to
fish or attempt to fish, take or attempt to take, any fish from
