road from the intersection of said Iron Ridge Road to the
Barnesville Station Road in the Town of, Poolesville, within the
Third Election District of said county, all building and improv-
ing authorized under the provisions of this Act to consist of the
grading of the said road, the construction of bridges and cul-
verts, and the construction thereon of a macadam or other dur-
able surface according to plans and specifications approved by
the Road Superintendent of Montgomery County, State of
Maryland; the funds herein provided to be used in said con-
struction may be added to other available funds and to such
funds as may be allotted for said road under the State Aid
Road Loan, if in the judgment of the Commissioners it be more
advantageous to construct the road under such Act.

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That if heretofore, or on
or before the 15th day of June, 1918, upon such terms and con-
ditions and the execution and assurance by satisfactory evi-
dence in writing as the said County Commissioners may pre-
scribe and determine, there shall be donated to the County
Commissioners of said county the sum of four thousand dollars
($4,000), the same shall be applied by them, in addition to the
sum of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) as provided in Sec-
tion 5 of this Act to the building and improving of that portion
of said road from the Monocacy School House by way of the
Iron Ridge Road to Field's store on the Poolesville-White's
Ferry Road, and if there be donated, in the manner herein
stated, the sum of fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500), the same
shall be applied by them, in addition to the sum of seven thou-
sand dollars ($7,000), as provided in Section 5 of this Act, to
the payment of the building and improvement of that portion
of said road from the intersection of said Iron Ridge Road to
the Barnesville Station Road in the Town of Poolesville; it be-
ing the intent and purpose that the issue of fifteen thousand dol-
lars ($15,000), of bonds and the certain donation of four thous-
and dollars ($4,000), for the building and improvement of said
road from the Monocacy School House by way of the Iron Ridge
Road to Field's store on the Poolesville-White's Ferry Road shall
be in no manner dependent upon the issuance of the seven
thousand dollar ($7,000) bond issue, and the certain donation
of fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500), for the building and im-
provement of that portion of said road from the intersection
of the Iron Ridge Road with the Poolesville-White's Ferry Road
to the Barnesville Station Road in the Town of Poolesville; pro-
vided, however, that should both donations be made, as herein
