line of said land to the North side of Saratoga Avenue; thence
northerly along the North line of Saratoga Avenue to the east-
ern edge of Mississippi Avenue, so as to exclude and except
from the limits of the corporation as it now exists the land
known as Blocks numbered Sixty-four (64) and Sixty-five
(65) lying South of the Blair Road; thence along the East
line of Mississippi Avenue to its intersection with Sligo Creek;
thence along the West bank of Sligo Creek to the Blair Road;
thence along the South line of the Blair Road to its intersec-
tion with Flower Avenue; thence along the West line of Flower
Avenue to a point opposite the North line of B. L. Palmer's
tract of fourteen and one-fourth acres; thence across Flower
Avenue and with said North line of Palmer's land to his East
line; thence with Palmer's East line to its intersection with
Carroll Avenue, and thence straight across Carroll Avenue to
the easterly sidg thereof; thence from said point along the

easterly side of Carroll Avenue to the Bladensburg Road at
John Brown's; thence with the westerly side of said Bladens-
burg Road to the land of Jackson; thence southerly with Jack-
son's land to the land of Riggs; thence with the East line of
Riggs' thirty-acre wood lot to John Powell's corner; thence

-with the dividing line between said John Powell's land and the
said thirty-acre wood lot to the west line of said Powell's land;
and thence with said West line and the West line of George P.
Powell's land to the Southwest corner of said George P. Pow-
ell's land; and thence with South line of said George P. Pow-
ell's land to the West line of Riggs' land known as Wroe farm;
and thence with the West line of Riggs' land to the land of
one Gleason; thence with said land to a boundary stone known
as the end of the thirty-first line of Chillum Castle Manor;
thence with said line reversed and as now laid down to the land
of the late Samuel S. Cockerille; thence still with said line
and said Cockerille's North line to the intersection of said line

with the easterly line of' Cockerille Avenue in the Pine Crest
subdivision; thence southerly along the easterly line of said
Cockerille Avenue to a point opposite the southerly side of
Highland Avenue in said Pine Crest subdivision; thence
straight across Highland Avenue and along the southerly line
of Highland Avenue to the aforesaid third line of the District
of Columbia; thence with said line reversed to the place of
beginning.
