Precinct No. 2. Comprising all that part of Ward No. 6,
which is bounded on the North by the center line of the Old-
town Road and the same extended to the Potomac River; on
the East by the City Limits; on the South by the Northerly
boundary of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company's right
of way where it intersects the center line of Third Street ex-
tended Westward, and the center line of said Third Street
extended to the Potomac River; and on the West? by the Poto-
mac River.
Precinct No. 3. Comprising all that part of the Ward No.
6, which is bounded on the North by the Northerly boundary of
the Baltimore and Ohio Railways Company's Right of Way to
where it intersects the center line of Third Street extended
Westward; and the center line of said Third Street extended
to the Potomac River; on the East by the City Limits; on the
South by the City Limits; on the West by the City Limits and
the Potomac River. And elections shall hereafter be conducted
in each of said precincts as they are now or may hereafter be
conducted under the Laws of the State of Maryland pertaining
to elections in the City of Cumberland.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this act is one of
'emergency, necessary for the immediate preservation of the
public safety and general welfare, and it shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 4.
AN ACT to extend to the women the right of voting for ves-
trymen in Emmanuel Parish in Allegany County, Maryland,
of the Protestant Episcopal Church.
WHEREAS, At meetings of the Vestry of Emmanuel Protestant
Episcopal Church of Cumberland, Maryland, held on the
29th day of February, 1916, and on the 9th day of January,
1918, after due notice, a majority of the Vestry passed
resolutions requesting the General Assembly of Maryland to
amend the law under which the said parish is organized, by
extending the right of suffrage to the women of said parish
upon the same terms as the men.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
