CHAPTER 231.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 441
of Article 3 of the Public Local Laws of Maryland, known
as Offutt's Code, title "Baltimore County," sub-title "Police
and Police Stations," so as to provide for the compensation
of policemen in Baltimore County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 441 of Article 3 of the Public Local Laws
of Maryland, title "Baltimore County," sub-title "Police and
Police Stations," be and the same is hereby repealed and re-
enacted with amendments so as to read as follows, that is to
say:

Section 441. That the County Commissioners of Baltimore
County shall levy annually a sufficient sum, upon the taxable
property in Baltimore County to pay said policemen, including
the marshal or officers of any other designation or rank on said
force, and for such other and proper expenses as in their judg-
ment may be required to promote the efficiency, discipline and
usefulness of such police force.

Approved April 10th, 1918.

CHAPTER 232.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 269, 270, 271, 272, 275, 276,
277, 278, 279, 279-A, 279-B, 279-C, 279-D of Article 10
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Dorchester County,"
sub-title "Roads," as enacted by Chapter 514 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of Maryland at the session of 1912,
and to substitute in lieu thereof certain other Sections to
be known as Sections 269, 270, 271, 272, 275, 276, 277, 278,
279.

CHAPTER 233.

AN ACT to repeal Section 15 of Chapter 77 of the Acts of
1870, title "An Act to incorporate the Town of Frostburg,
in Allegany County," and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.
