cases, or to make any crime infamous, by reason of any sentence
to the Maryland Penitentiary, or transfer thereto, which would
not have been an infamous crime before this Act takes effect;
and it is further provided that nothing in this Section shall be
construed to prevent any Court from committing any minor to
any industrial school or juvenile reformatory to which minors
may now be committed under existing law.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on and after June 1, 1918.

CHAPTER 197.
AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Talbot
County to borrow money for the purpose vof erecting and
equipping a school building at Tilghman, in said county, to
issue bonds therefor and to levy a tax for the payment of
said bonds with interest thereon.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Talbot County be and
they are hereby authorized, empowered and directed to borrow
the sum of nine thousand dollars ($9,000.00) upon the faith
and credit of Talbot County, and to issue coupon bonds there-
for in the denomination of one thousand dollars each, to be
signed by the President of the Board of County Commissioners
of Talbot County, and attested by the Treasurer of said county
with the corporate seal of said Board of County Commissioners
affixed thereto, which said bonds shall be denominated "Tilgh-
man School Building Bonds," and shall bear interest at the
rate of five per centum per annum, payable semi-annually,
said bonds shall be sold by the said County Commissioners and
the proceeds from the sale thereof shall be paid as soon as
received by the said County Commissioners to the County
Board of Education of Talbot County, who shall use and apply
the same for building, equipping and furnishing a school build-
ing at Tilghman in said county and for no other purpose.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said bonds shall be
dated August first, nineteen hundred and eighteen, to mature
one during each and every year, beginning August first, nine-
teen hundred and twenty-one; and that the said bonds, with
interest thereon, shall be redeemed by said County Commis-
