sary, together with the amount received from Anne Arundel
County under this Act, to pay the salaries of all the teachers
in full as provided by this Act, and the amount so paid over to
said Board of County School Commissioners by the Treasurer
of Anne Arundel County, together with the amount appropri-
ated from and set aside out of each quarterly distribution
from the State, as hereinbefore provided, shall be kept by the
Treasurer of the Board of School Commissioners as a separate
fund from all other funds received by him, and shall be de-
voted to no other purpose or object than the payment of the
salaries provided for by this Act.
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or parts
of Acts inconsistent herewith be and the same are hereby re-
pealed.

CHAPTER 29.
AN ACT to amend Chapter 200 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1916, providing a new charter
for the town of Mount Ranier, Maryland, by enacting a new
section to be designated as Section 15A of said town char-
ter, said, amendment conferring certain additional police,
powers upon the Mayor and Common Council of said town
of Mount Ranier, and making this Act emergency legisla-
tion effective from the date of its passage.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 200 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland of 1916, providing a new charter for the town of
Mount Ranier, in Prince George's County, Maryland, be and
the same is hereby amended by adding a new section thereto,
said section being designated as Section 15A of said charter,
to read as follows:
Section 15-A. And be it further enacted, That the Mayor
and Common Council of Mount Ranier, Maryland, shall have
power, in addition to the power heretofore given or now pos-
sessed, to prevent and remove all nuisances and obstructions
from the streets, alleys, lanes, and from lots adjoining the
same; to restrain and punish all disorders, disturbances and
drunkenness therein; to suppress bawdy houses or other places
of public ill-fame or injurious to the public order; to prevent.
