SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws or parts of
laws, either local or general, inconsistent herewith are hereby
repealed, and that this Act shall take effect from the first day
of June, Nineteen Hundred and Eighteen.

CHAPTER 176.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the Register of Wills for
Queen Anne's County, to index and enter the indexed names
under which Releases, filed in the Orphans' Court for Queen
Anne's County in and during the period of time from Janu-
ary 1st, 1890, to January 1st, 1918, are indexed in the books
in which the said Releases are recorded, and the numbers of
said record books and the respective folios upon which the
said Releases are recorded, into a book to be known as the
"General Index to Releases, W. T. B. No. 1", in the office of
the said Register of Wills, and to index and enter the indexed
names under which Accounts of Guardians, filed in the Or-
phans' Court for Queen Anne's County in and during the
period of time from January 1st, 1890, to January 1st, 1918,
are indexed in the books in which the said Accounts of Guar-
dians are recorded, and the numbers of said record books and the
respective folios upon which the said Accounts of Guardians
are recorded, into a book to be known as the "General Index
to Guardians' Accounts, W. T. B. No. 1," in the office of the
said Register of Wills; and to empower and direct the County
Commissioners of Queen Anne's County to appropriate for
the use and to pay the said Register of Wills for Queen Anne's
County the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for his
services in indexing and entering said indexed names and said
numbers of said books and folios.
