Clerk of said Board of said Supervisors of Elections shall re-
ceive the sum of thirty dollars ($30. 00), to be paid by the
County Commissioners of Charles County, upon the certificate
and order of the said Supervisors of Elections.
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That the said Supervisors
of Elections shall publish in two newspapers of general circu-
lation, in said Charles County, at least two weeks before the
first session of the Registers of voters of Charles County, next
ensuing the date when this Act shall take effect, a full and
complete list of all names erased from the old Books of Regis-
try and inscribed upon the new Books of Registry as hereinbe-
fore set forth, to the end that any person whose name has
been improperly erased from the old Books of Registry, and
inscribed in the new Books of Registry, may have ample op-
portunity to appear before the proper Boards of Registry of
voters, at their sessions, and have the proper corrections made.
SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That the Governor of
the State of Maryland and the County Commissioners of said
Charles County, are hereby authorized and empowered, re-
spectively, to make appointments of one Justice of the Peace
and one Constable for said new Election District as is now
authorized by law; provided, however, that the appointments
of such Justice of the Peace and Constable, shall not in any
manner affect the. jurisdiction of Justices of the Peace or Con-
stables now qualified, or appointed, in the respective Election
Districts out of which the new Election District hereby created
is carved.
SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on the first day of June, in the year 1918.

CHAPTER 169.
AN ACT to amend Article 18 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of the State of Maryland, title "Queen Anne's Coun-
ty, " sub-title "Sudlersville, " by adding two new sections
thereto, to come in after Section 251 and to be designated
as Section 251A and Section 251B, respectively, and to re-
peal all laws inconsistent therewith.
