signees, devisees or heirs shall be entitled to a patent thereon;
or if the certificate is released by adjudication or by operation
of law from the effect of the caveat, a patent shall issue thereon,
as if no caveat had been filed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from and after the first day of June, 1918.

CHAPTER 136.

AN ACT to authorize and provide for the general indexing of
the Land Records of Wicomico County, from the year 1867
to the year 1916 according to the system now in vogue in the
office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Wicomico County
since 1916, with such further changes in said system as may
be deemed advisable to the Clerk of the Circuit Court of
Wicomico County, and making said Records when so in-
dexed the official indexes of said office.
