the aforementioned road from La Plata to Riverside, in such
manner as in this Act provided.
Section 160C. And be it further enacted, That, immedi-
ately upon the passage of this Act, the Board of County Com-
missioners of Charles County, Maryland, are hereby author-
ized and directed to transfer and deliver to the Board of Road
Commissioners of Charles County by this Act created, all
moneys heretofore levied for road purposes in Charles County
aforesaid, and all teams, equipment and materials which may
be in their possession, custody or control, at the time this Act
takes effect, pertaining to, or to be used in, the construction,
reconstruction, repair and maintenance of the public roads of
Charles County. And for the purpose of carrying into effect
the provisions of this Act, all and the same powers in respect
to condemnation of land and other property for road pur-
poses, now vested by the Code of Public General Laws of Mary-
land, in the County Commissioners of Charles County, are
hereby vested in the said Board of Road Commissioners of
Charles County created by this Act, to the same extent and in
the same manner as heretofore exercised by the said Board of
County Commissioners of Charles County.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts and parts
of Acts inconsistent herewith be and the same are hereby re-
pealed.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the first day of June, nineteen hundred and eigh-
teen.

CHAPTER 127.
AN ACT to add an additional section to Article 90 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, title ''Sureties, " said addi-
tional section to follow immediately after Section 12 of said
Article and to be numbered Section 13; the same requiring
bonds or undertakings, conditioned for the performance of
any contracts for construction, installation or repair work,
given to the State of Maryland, or any of its agencies, to
provide for the payment by the obligors of just debts for
labor and materials, upon the conditions in this Act set
forth.
