CHAPTER 119.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
Seventy-one of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Cecil
County, " sub-title "Cecilton. "
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section Seventy-one of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Cecil County, " sub-title "Cecilton, " be and the
same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments as
follows:
Section 71. The President and Commissioners shall have
power to levy and collect taxes in the town not exceeding in
any one year fifty cents on the hundred dollars on the assess-
able property in the town, and they shall once in every ten
years, or oftener, if they think proper, appoint an assessor,
who shall, under oath, assess and value the property in said
town in the same manner and with like authority as County
assessor; provided, that in assessing any of the lands within
the said town which may be occupied and used as farms, or
may be a part or parts of farms, such lands shall be valued
and assessed as lots of four acres of ground with the buildings
and improvements thereon, and shall not be valued and as-
sessed by the number of acres therein.
SEC. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect and
be in force after June the first, nineteen hundred and eigh-
teen.

CHAPTER 120.
AN ACT to repeal Section 10 of Article 33 of Bagby's Anno-
tated Code of Public General Laws, title "Elections, " sub-
title "Judges and Clerks of Elections, " and to re-enact the
same with amendments.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 10 of Article 33 of Bagby's Anno-
tated Code of Public General Laws, title "Elections, " sub-title
"Judges and Clerks of Elections, " be and the same is hereby
repealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
Section 10. The judges and clerks appointed by the Board
of Supervisors of Elections for the several counties of the State
